5 Summer Favourites

Spring is here which means the warm summer days are fast approaching, hopefully, so I thought I would show you the 5 items I’m most excited to use.

As most of you know, I am no fashion guru so this may not be the trendiest outfit this season but it’s what I like, however, any fashion advice or tips are more than welcome. For me summer is all about keeping cool, looking good and keeping it minimal. Being a photographer I need a comfortable but smart wardrobe because I never know when I may get a last minute call to shoot. This summer I want to build my wardrobe to be functional for both casual and work wear.

1. The Dress: CottonOn R399

I love the simplicity and durability and able to both, work and play in this little striped dress. Plus for such a functional dress it’s really well priced.

2. The Clutch: CottonOn R200

This pretty, genuine suede purse is perfect. Literally, I use it for everything. It’s small enough to fit into a bigger bag for the day and simply pop it out and use it as it is at night.

3. Lip Balm: Back2Nature R35

One of the best brands I know, Back2Nature is totally raw, organic, vegan, animal testing and cruelty-free product. I LOVE their products and definitely recommend you check them out.

4. The Watch: ElantimeCo R800

I never thought much of watches until I found ElantimeCo. A simple timepiece that goes with everything. A
It’s stainless steel face and genuine leather strap make it well worth the cost. They come in a verity of colours but the light gray is definitely my favorite and I find I can really wear with most pieces in my wardrobe.

5. Booties: Aldo R1 100 (on sale)

I found these guys on sale and had to have them, I’m sure most of you know I am a MASSIVE Aldo fan, so they might not be the most versatile colour however, I find they go so well with this dress and simple blue jeans on a relaxed day.
