Sarah and I were invited to stay at the most amazing President Hotel recently and what and amazing stay it was.
For those of you who have not stayed at the President or know about it, its based right here in Bantry Bay. This stunning hotel offers 349 rooms, each with semi-self catering kitchenettes, spacious rooms with amazing views of the ocean and/or Lions Head. There are also a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges and the pool area which is just fantastic! Definitely the spot I enjoyed the most.
Sarah from A Short Girl’s World and I were invited to stay at this lovely hotel a couple weeks ago and my how i enjoyed it.
We arrived to a reserved table for lunch and had our choice of salads and wraps from the lunch bar. Then escorted up to our room, we were given a beautiful big double room that was well lit, spacious and overlooked the ocean. And even left complimentary bubbly. Now I’m not going to lie, it was a HOT day and all I wanted to do was sit by the pool and drink something cold, so thats exactly what we did till the sun set. Before dinner we got to relax and drink champagne.
For dinner we not only met our talented chef who prepared the most delicious food but he had created a special menu just for us, because between sarah and I we are lactose, gluten, and wheat intolerant! However despite our intolerances our chef cooked up a storm.
That night I slept the best i’ve slept in years not only because the food was to die for but because the beds in this hotel are HUGE and so comfortable. I felt like i was swimming in a sea of comfort.
In the morning Sarah and I were able to help ourselves the the breakfast buffet that was so big I honestly didn’t know how to choose what I wanted for breakfast.
We checked out happy full and well tanned. I must say what stood out to me the most was the friendly service. Everyone we met and interacted with were so lovely and so helpful and truly passionate about, not only their job but about the hotel itself which is something I don’t see very often.
